While this little device might be handy for a quick match, it does not appear to allow for matching at different "Q-points" (design-center operating points) nor at different plate voltages, bith needed features.
As to the noise test - that appears to be a simple "bang-bang nose test" - you hear noise thru a speaker without any quantative information, the microphonics test is again just a subjective one.
The previous writer talked of the "nosie floor" - a valid point. In addition, the spectral makeup of the noise can be a major consideratio, as 1/f noise and pop-corn noise are quite differennt. A true audio spectrum-analyzer, either swept or Nth-octave bin-analyzer are need to really separate the men from the boys, so to speak.
