..maybe this next communique you gently warn him that if ou don't receive payment asap, and you have little recourse, your only choice is to report them to the BBB, perhaps file a police report (this may need a little further investigating as to how and what you could file) and that you will spread the word to all you know in the high-end audio community that they are not-to-be trusted -- like any of those lawyer-ese collection notes we have all gotten from time-to-time for matters as simple as a dispute about a phone bill or mag. subscription -- this will prob. be all you need to get them to jump and write you a check - I just think that if you go right to the "i'll spread the word that you suck route", they may respond in a less than co-operatine way - if you warn them of what you could do, they'll pay up -- good luck and keep us posted --marc
