I would have no scruples at all exposing this dealer at this point. What I would do first however, is I would give this guy one last chance, an opportunity to make good on the agreement, and putting him on notice that if he delays one more time, that you will tell your story and share your experience with anyone who has an open ear. I would advise him that you are going to share the details of your plight, both verbally and on the internet. The high-end world really is a small world and if he has any sense at all, he will realize that he better complete his end of the transaction promptly. I went through this same thing with a dealer with a piece of mine on consignment......never again will I engage in this type of transaction with a reseller, especially if the dealer is not local and thus giving the dealer the advantage, enabling him to have sold the item and keeping you strung along, telling you it is still on the shelf. This is not a blanket statement, saying that all resellers and dealers are crooks, there are many of course that are very honest and provide a wonderful service to the high-end community, but there are some that have no idea what the definition of ethics mean and would not have any problem lying to and using their customers.....just my opinion derived from my actual experience.Bal
