I tried 21 different NOS and new production output tubes in my DJH Superamp, and two great values are the Svetlana EL34 and JJ E34L. Yeah, you can do better, but at much higher costs. I wasn't too impressed by the JJ KT88 or Ei 6CA7, but the Svetlana KT88, Tesla KT88 (best KT88 IMO including the GEC), and Ei KT90 are also good new production tubes.
