845 vs 805 output tubes

From the specs it looks like the 805 is a higher output tube than the 845, and that it can be used in amps to procuce very high signal to noise levels, relatively high power, and reasonably low distortion.

So, why is the 845 used more commonly in spendy, high-end amps?
