Re: Anyone On 'Tubes Asylum' Own Any "Vintage" Tabletop or Console Tube Radios???

Although my movers made a big crack on the base of the bakelite case, my 1957 Blaupunkt Bari-II tabletop radio still sings after all these years of moving along with me.

I have a big "mammoth" floor-standing Westinghouse multiband floor radio sitting at the corner of my lower floor living room, and a 1943 RCA tabletop radio sitting right next to my workstation in my sleeping room. I got a Philips 1961 multiband w/ FM sitting on the floor which I occasionally play FM station with.

My dad's 1935 RCA "cathedral" radio still sits on top of the shelf, waiting to be restored. Meanwhile my DeForest tabletop AM/SW radio sitting parted with the cabinet waiting to be varnished. The electronics section has been completely restored though...

Quest ;^>

p.s. I'm a lousy carpenter so plse do not ask me how my radios look.
