kurt, I'm not sure that's "UltraPath" as originally designed, I think you are supposed to use the Ultrapath cap by itself after the final filter choke or resistor, instead of and not in parallel with the final filter cap.Not sure how the results would differ though.
FYI, I tried UltraPath as described above, and I didn't hear much if any difference between it and the conventional return path. I think I used a 40uF oiler for the UP cap, in a conventional single ended output stage. The power supply was CLCLC, with the second C changed from ground to cathode for the experiment.
