A question and a comment

This is probably gonna stir up a hornet's nest, but since you offer the KR2A3 option to the Paraglow, describe it's performance in that design vis-a-vis the other 2A3 options. I read somewhere (either VALVE or Listener) that Jon van Halen droped them in his 'Glows and really liked them with his tweaked Medallion IIs/PM2A.

I've a NIB pair of the KRs and have the P'Glows on my "do" list, so I'm kinda curious. Of course, I won't know for me until I build 'em and burn 'em in ;-).

I've never thought of the 50 as romantic. My longest exposure to it was in a Don Garber design, and I thought it was more of a truth-teller than a romanticizer, particularly in a side-by-side with Don's 2A3 amps. Are you saying it's romantic relative to the 45, or just it's a romantic tube in the vein of the 2A3 and 300B?

And I ain't arguing, just askin';-).
