You can download the 648 operating instructions (all 7 pages of them) at the BAMA site for free. The 648 is a very basic "dynamic"emissions tester, and I would get a second opinion on a better tester before spending a lot of money replacing tubes. My rather rough 648 had a very high rejection rate, and has been collecting dust since I got a Hickock 6000. The roll chart settings on my 648 are:
45: Fil. Volts= 2.5; Circuit D=12; Circuit E=A34; Plate Test= 30 W.
80: Fil. Volts = 5; Circuit D=12; Circuit E=3; for the second section test Circuit E= 4; Plate Test is 18 W for both sections.
You may be able to get a new roll chart from Coletronics (do a search).
