I haven't heard the NOS monoplates, but except for the KR, I don't find them dark really(chinese maybe a pinch), but perhaps a bit romantic.As for detail, the chinese tubes *might* be a pinch less detailed(I'm not convinced), the NOS double plates are more detailed than 300B, just gentler-I have more detail now than when I did with my Cardinals. 2A3s are less gutsy tho:-) As for psychedelic, yea...
