What's better than a 5R4GY?

I've tried a large number of rectifiers in my 300b SET - GZ37, GZ32, GZ33, GZ34 (all Mullard) and then 5U4G (various types) 5T4, 5V3A......

The 5R4GY comfortably beats them all. Nice crisp mids and the best treble. Probably 5V3A second best.

The voltage range for the HT went from 376 for the 5R4GY to 388 for the 5U4GB. Not a huge difference. 5V3 in the middle.

Usefully the 5R4GY is 2A, but it takes a 4uF cap so can't just be substituted in equipment. I'm using a 10uF cap right now - nothing's gone wrong so I don't know if that's within the safety limits of the tube - anyone know?

Anyway, what's better? Maybe some of the German tubes?

The only obvious thing I can think of is doubling up on smaller rectifiers like 80 or the wonderful AZ1 mesh. Would need input of around 385vAC, current around 140 to 150mA
