RE: Apparently there's a market for dead tubes now, too?

The ones that get me is where they put in the add as "tests new" and neglect to mention that was for emissions only or list the tester and you have to figure out if it is an emissions only type or not. Got a recent pair with that statement and they tested in the low to mid 40's out of 100 on Gm. True, they tested fine on emissions and gas, but leaves a little to be desired as far as Gm. I am learning to read listings more closely these days and starting to become quite the educated one on different types of tube testers and what they actually test.
