Hi folks,What I've been trying to determine is if a 2.5 VAC filamant supply can run 300B's in a DC Coupled circuit ala, 6385's driving...
The 2A3's and 45's work great at 2.75VAC and the 300B's sound in tone about as nice...
That's the ghist of what I was trying a test bed of sorts to see, testing possibilities.
SO, thank you Joe Rosen for your most kind thoughts and comments as always they are your opinion and that's o.k.
Jeff thanks for your thoughts and kind words...again your thoughts and your words...I always try to see what I can add even when most folks just tweak and tinker with tube rolling v. hard thought circuit design and testing...
Not to say you both don't do this, I am not aware, so I am not saying you specifically...we must test things to determine is john or jane doe pays like $350 for tubes can they last even at extremes...
Well enough said...now I am off to throw the 300b's at a brick wall to see how good the glass is, does it shatter or just break in pieces ;-)
See.
