I had a MV55 for awhile. Changeing the Sovtek EL34s with Svetlana EL34s made a decent improvement. Changing the Sovtek 6SN7s to GE NOS 6SN7 made no difference to my ears. Changing the Sovtek 12AX7s to Mullard 12AX7s didn't seem to make a difference either.
