Chris, According to my HF-60 manual, you should have 3 primary wires: Black, Red/Black and Green/Black. The Black is used in all cases. You connect the Red/Black to the other side of the AC line for 117VAC, and you use the Green/Black for 125VAC. The unused lead is taped up.I agree with your thoughts about the using the stock circuit. I am getting ready to scratch-build an amp using a pair of ACRO TO-330's I bought, and I am planning on just using the HF-60 circuit but with a more substantial power supply.
