Need ideas for quality power supply for 12AX7 phono stage

I've been using a Lite Audio 37 phono stage for awhile and like it a lot. I bought a new bare PCB and plan on rebuilding it with even better parts. I would also like to improve my current PS that generates 260Vdc and 12Vdc. I'm using a cool little board from Gary Kaufman that utilizes a 6GV8 tube for regulation. This board may be fine and difficult to improve on, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Since it's a phono stage and low noise is desirable, any ideas on what might work best on a quad of 12AX7's? The GK board is fed with a Hammond transformer (369AX). Is it possible to step up to something even better?

I generate 12.6V grid voltage via a little regulator kit I bought. I'd like to improve this as well if possible. The tranny on the 12V reg board is a cheap Radshack one.

My project goal is to do this thing right if possible to gain the best sound. I'd like a supply that performs really well (don't we all). Any DIY schematics/ideas or PCB's around that'll improve my situation would be nice to hear about.

THe Lite#37 schematic is at the attached link.

thx,
Tom
