Greetings-I thought it was good news, hopefully others will think so as well. The CXPP series of push-pull output transformers are now available with 4,8,and 16 ohm secondaries,all on the same transformer (just to clarify).This info is not on their website, so you will have to ask. I just ordered a pair of the 7.6K 25 watt (CXPP 25-MS-7.6k) to try out with an old 6bq5 PP circuit. I'm not sure about their higher wattage transformers, but the 25 watt multi tap Edcor is only slightly more expensive (less than $9.00) than their single tap model. I was told that they are swamped with work right now, so it might be close to a month (but probably less) before I will receive the transformers. With the transformer price increase over at Triode, I certainly welcome this competition. Regards, wpod
