I've attempted to contact both Black Gate and Michael Percy to inquire on the surge rating. Michael, as many of you know, is one of the largest US reps for BG caps. Here is what he related:"They have a 550VDC surge rating, and I have been aware
of customers using them well in excess of their
rating, so you probably need not worry."I guess to each their own.
