Yeah, you can use 1/2W. Radio Shack even sells them in the values
you need. 220K, 330K are the values I seem to see for grid leak.To be honest, it really depends on the value of the coupling caps..
You choose a corner frequency that is very low - 4 Hz or so. So,
once you know the value of the coupling cap, say 0.22uF. You can
find Rleak by 4 Hz = 1/2PI*RCHowever, usually 220K or 330K is good enough.
It should be interesting to hear more about what you hear once you
