jeez.a) resemblance to the amity in practice would be limited to a PP output stage and tv damper diodes for rectification. The font does a lot, I know.. but the way he had the output stage drawn up with the cathode bias through the CT was just too easy to pirate, thanks again Lynn.
b) The AC impedance to ground is not so great; 18ohms for the 01A and 135ohms for the 71A. The gain of the 71A may be reduced, but so what.

c) The amplifier will be for 40Hz upward.
