After doing a lot of testing on the PT-31, rebuilding tube consoles and radios seems an appropriate use for them.

There are people rebuilding a Magnavox SE 6BQ5 console amplifier using the PT-31 OPT to replace the stock units.

The guy in the video claims "world class" performance of the rebuilt Magnavox amplifiers using the PT-31 OPT.
