Good enough is always good enough.
Amplifier distortion in a normal listening room is never a problem.
We like technical excellence and we pay a lot of attention to HD and IMD but what we really need is a quiet room (30 dB SPL) and no more than 65 dB dynamic range (in order to only occasionally exceeding 90 dB SPL).
