RE: LC filters for B+ ...

For the best sound possible, L1 and L2 should be
identical power chokes (not hash chokes), as their
time constants should be equal.

Likewise, C1 and C2 are better off if they are identical.
(not always possible and still satisfy PSUD2 "red" decay
lines).

Hash chokes come later-- for other uses after the Main B+.
These "outboard" supplies, usually for the driver tube, etc.,
get things such as Mundorf Silver/Oil .68 uf, etc.

These smaller local supplies are shunt-regulated by a
resistor, loaded to ground by a shunt resistor. There
are no solid-state parts.

The output of those require local filtering-- hash
chokes & small caps. We want a high PSRR here. The
load to ground establishes low-DCR PS for the driver, etc.
