The caps are only good if DF uses them. If they have not been touched by DF, they are just crap capacitors.

Reminds me of the insanity espoused by somebody who was cutting the leads off chokes to put 3.265 parallel runs of some sort of 'special' wire in their place and ignoring the 'by the ton' magnet wire the coils were wound with.

All in all, if I ever need reminded of what *NOT to do, I can always go and hunt up writings by DF, moo or DT and avoid doing everything they have said is *REQUIRED to get The Right sound from an amplifier.
