True if you intend to drive the tube
into the less linear portions of the chart.

That is going to depend heavily on what
speaker you intend to drive.

In my case, I chose to run the tube in
a very linear portion of the chart during
normal (loud) operation of the speakers I,
and others of my persuasion use normally.

I don't recommend that users of either the
7B4, 12AX7. or the 12BZ7 drivers expect miracles if
they connect their amp to a power-gulping speaker
that suffers from small transducer surface area,
or minimum cabinet volume.

I think users of conventional speakers should
be using much higher power push/pull amps.
They'll just have to accept much reduced
performance as far as music goes, even though their
amps are very linear.
