4 to 5 insertions (of the tube),
and about 100 hours of listening.

Pull tubes out and push them in TOTALLY
vertically. Skew-angle a tube insertion,
and kiss the socket goodbye as far as top
performance goes.

If you ever place a tube into a socket, and the
tube is not pushed-in 100% vertical to the socket, remove
that socket and give it away...
