RE:replacing all the caps in a 300B tube monoblock with all new film caps has been an enlightening experience

I understand Teflon caps take ages to get going. I think I read some place there is a technical reason why or it might just be anecdotal. Nice result all the same but then I guess you would hope so for such top drawer componentry. It's not as though you had bad stuff in there to start with.
