And does break-in really matter, as long as stuff sounds BETTER after it's played for a time?

Imagine a world where broken-in sounds WORSE. You install a high-priced film cap and it sounds GREAT right out of the gate and then, over the next weeks, it slowly tuns to crap?

Or worse, it's all just your imagination and the sound quality of EVERY part or piece of gear put in your system begins to deteriorate over time and you have to buy a new one.

Oh, wait. That's an audiophile.

Never mind.
