RE: Capacitor break-in

If you ever find a good answer to that question, please share!

I've had the same experience, repeatedly, with interstage and parafeed capacitors and with output transformers. None of the candidate theories seem plausible, and it's hard to think up a way of testing them. But the experience is consistent and widespread so I don't find the "it's all in your head" theory to be plausible either.
