RE: Tube Grid Bias Issue

Ok. Cathode bias is always there no matter if the grid is grounded at zero volts thus the tube is still properly biased. The grid has a 1 meg to ground resistor to stop grid leakage current at the 100K maximum pot value to ground. Probably does not need the 1 meg resistor either with a 100K pot. Correct?
