Me too.

And what that means in a single-ended amplifier stage can be contentious! They are class A and draw a constant current: it is ripple (and noise) that matters! They draw consistent average current, but have short term demands: a low impedance supply matters! They draw consistent average current, but have short term demands and draw additional current with increasing distortion (power output) so recovery (fast enough and clean) matters! And so on...

How can we characterise what what actually goes on under different dynamic situations (and with different supply topologies)? Not theory; measurement... correlated to listening impressions.
