RE: Williamson revisited

I agree, and I bought quite a few of the old KT66's, with the same result. It's funny but that is how I got into the Williamson conversion. I found a pair of very good Genelax KT66's in a Heathkit W5M with a blown output transformer. The cost of the W5M was less than what a pair of the KT66's were selling for. So I bought it for the tubes. The amp sat around for 15 years and was the reason I tried the conversion.
