I'm doing something similar, converting Heathkit W5M to Radio Craftsman 500 circuit, both of which are Williamson designs. I found some OPT 12Kohm transformers from the 50's that were originally shipped from BBC to someplace in Italy and sat in a crate all this time.
I just got the first one running today. Sounds good on the bench, I will get a better idea when I get the other one completed. It has been a fun project, there is still quite a bit of information on this old design.
