The web spanned that space which is traversed by those 4 resistors, from the low voltage PCB to the HV PCB. I've been in and out of these amps many times to repair one glitch or another, and I have never seen a spider web in there before. You must have a pair of Model 2s; my chassis' also contain the crossover and amplifier for the woofer sections of a 2SW. I only use the hi-pass section of that circuit, and the woofer amplifier not at all. I use an outboard Dahlquist DPLQ (or whatever) crossover for low pass driving a Threshold amp to drive homemade transmission line woofers. I do love these speakers, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that there is no problem with the panels.
