There is something called a transitory oscillation. A transient spike ( a spectral analysis of spikey or sharp waveforms will show they have a lot of high frequency content) in the music can excite a momentary oscillation in a circuit prone to that behavior. This behavior might be hard to catch with the usual tests. It will be heard as a harshness in the music, especially during loud passages.
