So glad we built a small footprint home with *enough* space. Plenty of space for my partner to garden and for me to build amps (though my space could be better designed). I'd like a larger living/audio area though.
Maintenance is low - so low that it does not cost much to have others do it for us. Air is fresh. Plants and great neighbours are numerous. Feels nice to be in. But it does not fit the general suburban vibe and may not have the investment value... which is fine by me.
Would like that big garage though. We are considering a pavilion where I can build and she can propagate plants...
