Generally, Grid chokes can used to load the grids of Triodes or Pentodes depending on the current requirements. I've used them on the input and output sections with good results. Just replace the the grid resister that pulls the grid negative. Again make sure you are not pulling the choke into saturation with too much grid current. If this is a commercial product you're trying to modify, you might find surprises.
