RE: actually, it's rather easy

I also have a SE 2A3 amp, a modified Sun amp. In its original configuration it sounded kind of "polite" and boring. As part of the changes I added input and driver CCS plate loads and replaced the 6SN7 driver with a 6BX7. The amp came alive. A ballsy driver with a current source load seems to have done the trick.
