My Line Stage started its life as a differential parafeed design. It sounded nice. Used Lundahl input transformers for the parallel feed output. At Kevin Carter's urging I switched to series feed with Lundahl amorphous line out transformers. I will never go back to parallel feed after hearing the difference. That parallel feed cap makes a big difference. As to isolation from the PS, the use of a CCS fed active shunt reg. for the B+ like the ones K&K Audio sells will do the job and make for a big difference in sound quality. Right now I'm the process of switching out the 6N30s for 12P17Ls, the indirectly heated cousins of the 4P1Ls.
