RE: need help with understanding a table

Regarding distortion and load, was there a thread here recently about using a slightly lower than textbook load when running zero-nfb PP? Something about the distortion characteristic being better (2nd cancels anyway and 3rd possibly lower)?

Edit: twystd's response directly to the OP suggests this is the case. OP's link attached.

Also, if a PP transformer and not running a large gap to accomodate large DC offset, I'd expect the primary inductcance to be okay: good enough, but perhaps not great... (much?) better than a good SE transformer.

I agree though - suck it and see!
