hi Ralph-Thanks, yes I like them better on AC on the 845 filaments. Hum is usually between 3-5mv, depending on which tubes are in. on DC hum is non existent. DC isn't bad but AC is better - I could happily live with either. Why would 20v be undoable on AC heaters if 10V works? Just curious - I am not as well versed in the deep tech stuff as you and Josh are. You could always go nuts and do battery fil. supplies... ;-)
Hey did you see Josh put the 75TL amps up on Ebay? Wish I had an extra $15k+ or so...
