Ultrasonic AC for DHT Filament

I'm trying to de-hum a homebrew 211 SET amp. I searched the archives and discovered a brief discussion on this topic going back a year or two. Someone mentioned using an "electronic transformer" for this (see link below). It looks like a transformer-isolated source of 12V, 60W HF energy (25-50KHz) for less than $13.00. Does anyone know if it worked? I couldn't find any results posted to the board.
