Power switch arc suppression

I'd like to suppress arcing across the power switch of my 2A3 SET amp. From memory, 10 to 20 R in series with a 0.1 to 0.5 uF high-voltage capacitor across the switch has been suggested. We run 240V AC here in Australia. I value reliability: would a 600V all-in-one Quencharc unit suffice, or would a separate R and 1500V cap be a safer, albeit less elegant, bet?

Cheers,
