You said its an inter-stage cap. If so, it will likely be at a different ( and lower ) operating voltage, than a B+ power supply filter cap, that "sees all" the B+, that the amp can muster.
Others, who know the circuit, will comment to you, and verify the VDC the cap will " see ".
