Jeff: That part looks very much like a modern day Shallco open frame rotary switch. Shallco appears to be a successor company that was formed in the late 60s and the design is similar.

Shallco provided me a custom switch for a stepped attentuator that I built a few years back. They were very helpful to me. You can see the brochure here:

They are mill-spec with solid coin silver contacts and are not cheap but they might be able to help you out. Try giving them a call if you can't find what you're looking for.
