Hi,
I'm needing to use a low DCR plate load as the voltage across this load provides bias for the next stage, this rules out resistor loading and also CCS loading (voltage compliance) = leaves choke loading.. ok great.
Question is one I cant find the answer for.. say ~10k Rp tube (UX-201A),should be a matter finding an off the shelf coil - say MQ EX-010 = 300H at 10mA Ip = great.. and 1k DCR is fine.. but what is the capacitance of such a coil as it relates to HF limit ?
I've asked at the MQ forum and it .. well, it just didn't = after some initial expression of interest to provide me a product from the winder (at suggested extra cost) when it got to 'what sort of capacitance = what sort of HF limitation to expect' it got quiet really quickly..
Any ideas..
10k Rp, Ip anywhere between 4 - 15mA depending on how I can shunt current around the tube (beneficial in this design).. can I get thru 20kHz at less an -1dB.. ??
Thanks,
Shane
