"A cable becomes a transmission line when it has a length greater than λ/8 at the operating frequency where:
λ = 300/fMHz"
Let's see, at 20kHz, lambda (wavelength) = 15,000M So an audio cable becomes a transmission line at 1,875M. Gee, I don't know about you guys, but my interconnects and speakers cables are nowhere near THAT long. :~)
