The K&K kit would replace the delay relay your using. It has a relay and and is designed to be used in series with the B+. It is also designed to be used with SS rectifiers, hence the soft start feature that ramps up the voltage slowly. If you need more delay with tube rectifiers you can use a delay relay to switch on the filament voltage to the rectifier tube(s). I use this method with my amps. In my case the rectifiers come on faster than the output tubes and need to be delayed.
