I have a PAS2 that I use to drive my triode amps. I have no issues with the Phono sound which give me no reason to start scratching at scabs.

Good bang for the buck as far as I'm concerned. If we were comparing to very high end really respectable gear, attitudes might be different... I have $300.00 wrapped up in my unit and I'm very happy with it. FMPOV..i'm sure we can find short comings with everything which is fun from time to time ;.)
