I interpreted your original post to imply that any amp without fully bypassed R(k)s was, by definition, inferior...and that is what I responded to.Obviously, one's design choices will be predicated upon how those decisions impact R(p)...and everything else!
But, the possible elimination of capacitor nasties, combined with the niceties of some degenerative feedback is often a net positive thing.As far as Dennis explaining anything: is that what this is about? I thought we were discussing R(k) bypass caps.
